Bringing God's Word
to Every Heart

Oasis Scripture Fellowship Mission transforms lives in North India through Scripture translation, compassion, and empowerment.

Why Translation Matters

The Crisis of Extinction

Without Scripture in their own tongue, languages gradually weaken and disappear. Recent statistics show that nearly 60 languages have vanished in the last 50 years.

Many communities are compelled to read Scripture only in regional languages (Hindi, Marathi, Odia) rather than their "Heart Language." If we do not act, an entire generation may miss the chance to hear God's Word in the language closest to their hearts.

Translation Methodology

We identify languages without Scripture and meet with communities to emphasize the importance of their mother tongue.

1

Team Selection

We identify 20–25 people (for NT) or 30–35 (for OT) fluent in both mother tongue and regional language. The team is a mix of elders (strong in vernacular) and youth.

2

Training Week

A one-week intensive training covering translation methodology. We cover all expenses: food, accommodation, and travel.

3

Drafting & Checking

Translators draft from gateway languages. They perform self-checks for key terms, followed by rigorous group checking sessions.

Sponsor a Project

Most translators are daily-wage workers who sacrifice income to serve. We provide minimum support to enable them to work faithfully.
